How do I play .avi files and .srt files together? I googled, and found something that dated back to 2005 for Macs and it did not help. I have both files in the same folder, but the subtitles don't show up during playback. I mainly use VLC player, but also have Quicktime Pro.

Hi folks,

I'm considering buying a My Book World Edition NAS from Western Digital, but I have a question about Mac compatibility. On WD's website, they only list the "My Studio" edition drives as "Mac-ready" and say that all the other drives require Windows. But I've read elsewhere on the internets about Mac folks using other WD drives with no problems.

Does anyone have any experience using a Western Digital NAS with a Mac? Are they good friends? Should I buy with confidence?

I just got my ipod touch and I'm super psyched about it.
In your opinion, what are the best/most useful/most fun applications/games for the ipod touch? I think most of the same applications that work on iphone also work on touch.
Oh and I already did the jailbreak thing to it.
